LENDER REPRESENTATION
We assist banks, mortgage companies and lending institutions to develop and implement legal protections and strategies for loan documentation and problem account situations. Our attorneys represent these clients in workouts and mortgage foreclosure proceedings.

INDUSTRIAL, COMMERCIAL AND RESIDENTIAL SALES
We represent buyers and sellers in the negotiation, preparation and review of agreements of sale for industrial, commercial and residential real estate transactions.

RENTALS AND LEASES
We represent landlords and tenants in the negotiation, preparation and review of commercial lease agreements.

ZONING AND LAND USE
We assist builders and developers seeking subdivision or land development approvals, variances, special exemptions and conditional use applications from municipalities.

TAX ASSESSMENT APPEALS
We represent taxing bodies, including municipalities and school districts, as well as landowners, in tax assessment appeals and disputes.

CONDOMINIUMS
We represent developers of condominium projects, purchasers and sellers of commercial and residential condominium units and condominium associations.

TITLE INSURANCE
We provide title insurance and abstract services through Pennsylvania Abstract Company, a title insurance agency affiliated with the firm.

GAS DRILLING / MARCELLUS SHALE
We advise property owners, municipal governments, community associations and non-profits in connection with gas drilling in the Marcellus Shale and other shale formations. We litigate DEP permitting, zoning and environmental claims and have handled matters in state and federal court, before the PA Environmental Hearing Board and the Delaware River Basin Commission. We also advise landowners in connection with leases and negotiate over leasing terms.

Herbert K. Sudfeld, Jr.
Mr. Sudfeld routinely represents land owners and developers in land use matters before municipal and administrative agencies, restaurant and large-scale shopping center owners and tenants with purchasing, leasing and liquor license applications and enforcement issues, small business development and oil and gas leasing in the Marcellus and Utica shale.


Krista P. Harper
