Benjamin Hartung focuses his practice on insurance defense litigation, including first party property damage, bad faith claims and claims against insurance agents. He has also been involved in medical malpractice defense.
Charitable, Community and Civic Involvement
Ben is involved with Community Legal Services, which is a legal aid organization in Philadelphia. As a member of the Justice Rising Advocates he participates in fundraising projects for Community Legal Services. He has also been a participant in expungement workshops.
In law school, Ben was involved with the School Discipline Advocacy Service, a law student organization that represents Philadelphia School District students in suspension and expulsion hearings.
In college, Ben was co-captain of a club soccer team at Wesleyan University, where he earned a degree in Earth and Environmental Science. Ben enjoys outdoor activities and he is a member of the Corinthian Gardens, a community garden in his neighborhood in Fairmount, Philadelphia, which is affiliated with The Friends of Eastern State Penitentiary.
